| Talking Chair, The Poetry Shop, Hebden Bridge Arts Festival |
Following workshops with poet John Hegley, poems were recorded, handwritten onto chairs and made into wallpaper. Visitors wrote poems and listened to messages left by children's writers Anne Fine, Brian Patten, Michael Morpurgo and many more. 500 school children contributed hand made picture postcards and poems.
Two chairs were upholstered in fabric printed with local Ordnance Survey maps and recordings of local children were heard on the speakers.
